Use Spot From Your AI App
Your AI app can read your call outlines and your next prospect, and make new Drafts for you. You approve each Draft in Spot before a call.
Paste this address in your AI app:
https://api.closewithspot.com/mcp
Then sign in with your Spot email. Spot emails you a code. You need an active Spot plan.

Works on all Claude plans. The free plan allows one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it first in Organization Settings, then Connectors.

- Put this in it and save:
{ "mcpServers": { "spot": { "url": "https://api.closewithspot.com/mcp" } } } - Open Customize in Cursor and turn Spot on. When Cursor asks, sign in with your Spot email.
Any Other AI App
- Find where your app adds a custom MCP server (it may say connector, app or tool).
- Paste the address.
- Sign in with your Spot email when it asks.
What Your AI App Can and Can't Do
- It can see your outlines and your team's, Spot's starter outlines, and your next prospect.
- It can make a new outline, change one of your own (not one you share with your team), and set your next prospect. Your AI app asks you before it saves a change.
- New and changed outlines are always Drafts. You approve them in Spot.
- It can never delete or approve outlines, change team outlines or outlines you share with your team, start or end a call, hear your calls, or change your plan, billing or team.
Disconnect an App
In Spot, click Settings, then Account. Under Connected Apps, click Disconnect. It stops working right away.
